LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J.—First-year Riley Poisson posted the best finish by a William Smith College cross country runner at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Championship since 2012, leading the Herons to their best team finish since 2001 this morning. Poisson placed 38th out of 305 finishers and William Smith was 16th out of 44 teams.
